Rear shock

Hey, Looking for help with my 2008 FST turbo rear shock. I push down on the seat and it stays down. Is my best option to replace or rebuild? I know nothing about shocks. I also would like to know what could replace it? Thanks for any help!

Depending on the shock that is on it, it may or may not be able to be rebuilt. Can you upload a photo of the shock?
