My '16 LE is in the shop(dealer) now. Last couple rides it hasn't been pulling rpms....even in 10 degree temps. Can't even pull stock 66 gram weights.....something's amiss. I did check and adjust my tps voltage using northstarrick's specs. No improvement. We'll see what the dealer finds. Sled...
I believe they told you that because not all multimeters are accurate. A $25 meter isn't going to be as accurate as a $75 and up meter. Do you know the brand of your multimeter? The voltages that you compared the DW to might be accurate enough for us to use if your multimeter is a decent one...
Snow drift...I deserved it back, LOL!
Multimeter will work. (your talking to a guy here who has a degree in electricity...if that matters) No frequency involved here. It's DC voltage. DC is DC. The only time frequencies are used in DC are when you are varying the speed of a large DC motor...ie...
Brock, where did you come up with the 5 volt battery idea???? The sled only sends 5 volts to the TPS thru the computer which gets it volts from the battery. All you have to do is have a fully charged battery and the multimeter will show the correct volts. The digital wrench also relies on this...
There's got to be a way we can find out what the Digital Wrench/multimeter voltages are. Does someone have access to the DW that can give us the matching multimeter voltages?? This is extremely important for those of us that can/want to adjust our own TPS without a trip to the dealer.
I'm running a Bully Dog in my stock 2016 800 LE with the full SSi clutch kit. Sled runs great, no hiccups or issues. pulls 8250. Have been using non-eth 91 and eth 93 fuels and have not had the det come on yet. It only took 1/2 hour to read the installation instructions and load the tune. I'm...
Excellent testing and results! I'm impressed that a simple pipe mod can make such gains. Goes to show you that Polaris already has a good pipe design and a little modification only makes it better. Brock, there was a post that mentioned the Bully Dog tuner and that you had issues with it. What...
