LOL....watched my brothers change belts countless times on their turbo cats....they both eventually traded them in for Axys Switchbacks.
Yes, the light will fit all Axys chassis sleds.
The difference is drastic. Nice thing with it being mounted low is the added visibility when the front end of the sled is in the air such as when coming off hill crests or on the throttle. Because it's separately switched, you can leave it on when your sled is not running. Nice feature when...
Time to start this thread going again. I will have an LED light kit available for the Assault. Just need mine to come in 1st so I can finalize the light and where it mounts. Here's what I ran on my '16 Pro R LE. Adds 2400 lumens of light. Makes a big difference. I have more pics available.
Thanks Brock! I knew you of all people would enjoy the vids as well know that drag racing these sleds is more about the holeshot and driving. Some of the riders didn't keep the throttle pinned all the way up the slope because of the rough terrain. I did. My 1st vid where we race both sleds, I...
When I got the invite to attend, I had no idea the 850 Doo would be there. Once I realized how much of an opportunity this was after arriving, I was hoping we would get the chance to line them up. Luckily, Lisa and Brian from Laconia HK as well as Kevin and Dean from Hooksett HK were already...
I'm familiar with the IDD, it's just too damn small to see! Same with the GPS, I just can't see any detail without my reading glasses on. But my Garmin is much easier to see and has more features including trail numbers/names, safe route's across lakes, gas stations, etc...
I haven't been that impressed with the way the Rush chassis handles the bumps. Fun factor is there but big bumps are too much for this skid. Upgraded the rear skid spring to a HY Gear which worked well but maybe I should have upgrade the front skid shock to one as well? My front skid shock...
Looks like we ordered the same sled except I went for the new standard gauge. I have the IDD on my current sled...not impressed with it. Can't see much detail with my 52 year old eyes and find the GPS useless. I'm going back to using my Garmin on the Assault.
