went to dealer to pick up the manifold gaskets & figured I'd ask how much theyd charge to do the job if I provided the parts.. they gave me a fair price $135...I'm providing the 2 manifold gaskets ($15), & a new aftermarket starter for $60 (the dealer price was $300 for the OEM starter) sweeeeet!

hey I found the manifold gasket, now my other question is, do I have to take drive clutch off? it looks that way & my buddy who has all of the mechanical skill is skeptical about the clutch situation, I'm going on utube now to look but I'd love some advice, thanks guys Duke

Hey guys, I have to replace the starter on my 2004 xc 800, it looks like I have to take off the exhaust manifold. do I need a replacement gasket on hand or do those typically stay intact. im having a hard time finding a replacement manifold gasket (just incase). please help fellas thanks Duke

brock if Polaris isn't in the #1 spot who is? they are #1 with the most hard core guys (mountain guys) with the RMK & the 800 pro S is on top of trail riding or at worst polaris rotates annually with arctic cat zr8000 for top trail sled (last 2 years)...I have no idea what brand wins snow cross...

well the charger & block heater make sense, those guys were like 48 yrs old & I'm sure the saleman at the dealership was going on & on about reliability & you can run these 25,000 miles blah blah & they wanted 4 stroke for reliability & not to rip down trails & hit corners hard but the saleman...

Rabbi, yes that is the place, they are the 5th largest Polaris dealer in the world (based on volume/sales) which is crazy. they wont run out of new sleds but they have run out of slightly used leftover 60th anniversary switch 800 S' they had about 10 for sale in september for $10,200-$10,900...
