    Terra Alps coolant bypass

Curious to see what parts are being added or eliminated. Most tell you to block off the front rad hose and route the coolant the same way as the RMK setup. I didn't want to do that so had to 'McGyver" a few things. I didnt' want to hack up the factory hoses too much either should I decide...

    Which would you do? Opinions?

I'd be curious to see what the outcome is as well. I asked terra alps some questions about their pipe for a PRO R.

Terra Alps single Pipe with RKTEK piston/head combo?

Have a 2012 PROR 800 with RKTEK piston/head combo. Head is supposed to be 12.6 or 12.9:1....can't remember. Just wondering if this pipe would compliment the setup or hurt it? According to Kelsey, any pipe he tested on this sled either lost HP or gained nothing over stock. I was intrigued by...

    Clutching and gearing

Hmm.......this gearing thing has me torn. I tried numerous different ratios in my PROR 800 switch......1.86, 1.74. 1.69, and finally back to 1.64. Ran each ratio against a test mule (our other 2012 PROR 800 switch geared stock). I thought I would hand him his ass. What happened was I'd...

    Terra Alps coolant bypass

The PRO RMKs are even easier to plumb since they don't run the front rad cooler like the PRO R 800 switchback. Very neat install on the PRO RMK. My install was a little more involved. LOL All of the information you need is right here...

    Terra Alps coolant bypass

I did the skidoo thermostat bypass on my pror 800 switch after the rktek head and piston kit. Temps with stock pistons were areound 128. After the install of head and pistons it was around 135-136. After i installed the skidoo stat housing....temps dropped to 118....and hold this temp very...

    Polaris colored bogies on Axys?

Hmm....think its too much? Had intentions of just changing outside wheels.....idlers and rear axle

    Polaris colored bogies on Axys?

Doesnt' look like these will work then. They are 5.35" vs 5.62". They also use the 6205 bearing....but I believe there are plastic inserts that allow you to accommodate the mount. Looks like they would be about 1/4" smaller......I wonder if that is enough to be concerned about?? Rear ones...

    Dollar / HP with pipes

Yes....I'm a little confused as well. I picked up the SLP pipe combo before I knew anything about the SSI mod. It sounds like it only made 3.4 HP with 91+ Octane (no ethanol).....and made equal HP in ethanol fuel mode?? Can you please clarify?

    Polaris colored bogies on Axys?

I was thinking about adding some color to my Axys suspension with some of the "swept" styled Indy Red rear axle and idler bogies. http://www.royaldistributing.com/Catalogues/Main/2015-Fall-Winter/#172 Just wondering if diameter, bearing and width are the same and if they will work? Can...

    Axys decals

Has anyone ordered a decal from this place? I'm just about ready to order one of the tunnel wraps but I'm a little concerned of the quality. Can anyone verify??

    pipe mod

My only concern would warranty?.....if you needed to take it in......hopefully they wouldn't notice. How did the SLP pipe combo compare on the Axys 800 switch? They claimed 9 Hp. The other question I have is that SLP needed a resistor in the pipe sensor to force the ecu to add more...
