What are those straps and how can I get some,I'm looking into the same pipe mod and was looking for a way to put the shield back on,other than big hose clamps

Only if they can prove the pipe mod caused the damage,if the oil pump fails and fries the motor that's still covered,if a lean condition burns your pistons and nothing's wrong with the fuel system,like a bad injector or fuel pressure regulator then your probably screwed

That's like the tensioner they always used,not a fan of this new slider one I think I'm swapping mine out

Ok thanks,I thought about just removing the ring gear and selling it with the kit anyways,did you have your clutch rebalanced after taking off the ring gear or just run it?

Not familiar with rider scope,I understand completely if you have Polaris fix it for free,I haven't ordered the torque strap yet,just the chain and gears,do know anything about speed shop inc's pipe mod?looks like it makes decent power for the money,was just wondering in all the dyno work you...

I didn't like polaris's fix,putting straps across to reinforce them instead of making new parts is a crappy fix IMO,plus the plastic bushing are inferior and the new ones come with oil lite bushings,granted they aren't cheap but I'm worth it Div20

Yes it looks like it mounts right where the starter gear does on the front of the motor

Ok thanks,I went with Your recommendation and ordered a 40 tooth bottom gear and a 70 pitch chain

If I change my gearing do I need the dealer to reset my speedo?looking at doing The recommended 1.74 ratio or pro x gearing

And the electric start kit will be for sale if anyone's interested

Torque arm from slp doesn't fit with electric start and once I'm done modifying it I'm gonna need one that's why

any reason I can't just remove the electric start from my pro s? I know I need to leave the starter ring on the primary clutch but other than that any electrical voodoo crap that it will cause,I wouldn't have ordered it with electric start but this one came with it and I couldn't pass up the deal
