    vent kits

Wondering about vent kits on the assault. Coming from doo which venting was popular and needed, is there any vendors that make kits. I only got 200 miles on my sba so far but noticed a chimney of heat coming up out of brake vent and water temps were @ the 120 range. Also was thinking clutch...

    assault stock air box

Just coming from doo and running bondi air boxes, I was wondering if the stock air box provides good flow?. I see SLP has a high flow intake kit but does the sled respond to it as a better flow?. Also if air box mod is needed what are you guys doing?.

    Assault fast trail set up

Brock is that a PDP (proven design products) race flap?. I ran the xp trail model on my doo rs 860. I couldn't keep it cool on hard pack with the BB 860 with the rs coolers and the race flap. I like the bend in there trail flaps, they curve the snow back up to the cooler. Worked very well. I'm...

    floating secondary

Thanks Brock, been reading a lot on my new assault and clutching. But haven't done more than resetting belt deflection. I hadn't read anything on floating the secondary and was wondering. Once I get it thru break in ill start wrenching on it more. A little learning curve going from doo to poo!.

    floating secondary

Since I'm new to the poo and haven't wrenched on one before I didn't realize the shimming that go's on with the primary and secondary that you don't do with the doo. With the doo you float your secondary set your belt deflection and go. You still have clutching with springs, helix and ramps of...

    floating secondary

A float plug is a spacer that's cut to the same dia as the secondary shaft that the secondary clutch rides on. This allows the secondary clutch to float back in forth on the shaft keeping the primary and secondary alined .

Hey guys, I'm new here and new to the poo's. Reading some of the clutching posts and I noticed nobody talking about running float plugs in there secondary's?. I had one in my rs 860 mod with the team secondary and it worked great.
