Blurry when enlarged. So, stock gearing is 22-37 in the manual?

    2015 Axys Pro X 800 H.O. DET mode issue

Something simple to check and known issue. Find the exhaust valve actuator follow wiring to upper crossmember of bulkhead. There will be a wire connection, pull it apart and look for any signs of corrosion. If so, clean both sides of the connector, and pack the connector full of dielectric...

    50 vs 48 start angle

The steeper the angle the faster the up shift and will load the motor quicker. Shallower angles back shift better. Secondary spring tension affects both of the above to an extent. IMO for all the CFI engines the full progressive angles work better. Actually it's amazing how well a straight...

Ditto. But, I think all four of those angles would be worth trying out.

    TEAM TIED TEST

    Some say it's a 14* difference, so a 64-60 would be a 50-46. Didn't see the 68-63/66-61 listed on the venom site.

    TEAM TIED TEST

Food for thought. The other side of the 64-60 is a 66-62. Not sure 1* will make that big of a difference, it could, but it seems like a 66-62 would be close enough to decide if a 66-61 would be worth trying. The 64-60 is noticeably better on the 700cfi & the 800cfi-2 , and I would guess a good...

    XCR track choices

Big gears Vs small gears or big chain dog leg vs little??? Polaris seems to like small gears with larger dog legs. The 1.73 runs smaller gears with the smallest amt of dog leg compared to the 1.74, plus it uses a shorter chain, thus the lighter of the 2 set ups. Not sure if I'll put the roller...

Do you run one on an axys, what gear ratio, and what mph are you seeing?

    TEAM TIED TEST

Have used the TIED since 2008. If your looking for a starting point, I would pick a 64-60F helix, it will be hard to beat. I have a 68-63 on the shelf that I will try in the axys, but on other motors it didn't work as well as the 64-60. The full's, with close angles work better than the...

    XCR track choices

I was guessing the suggested rotation is in the direction of the v of the lug is pointing, switching it around would provide more scoop affect. I was told the track manufactures run the tracks in the direction that provides more bite towards breaking. Years ago I an XCR 800 that I ran the...

    XCR track choices

Had a 1.5" ripsaw on my pro-r 800SB and liked it, did ok in powder and was pretty stable/predictable on hard pack. Thought about heading that way again. Not sure about the hook up of a 1.25" on an 800. Do you run the intense in the indicated direction or do you flip it for more bite?

Looking for opinions. Don't want to stud, even tho that's probably what it deserves. Looking at ice attack XT or should go with a 1.75. Majority of time on groomed trail.

    Proper clutch alignment

To make clear, using the 51607 tool, with the front of the secondary touching the tool, I want .05" in and .05" out of float from that point, for a total of .1" of float.
